Of peace, life, death… – Hungarian National Male Voice Choir

We cordially invite you to an exceptional concert on 23 September 2024, at 7pm, in the Franciscan Church of Országút (St Stephen Parish Church, Margit körút).

This beautiful concert will feature two movements of my grand oratorio Missa “Da Pacem”, complemented with organ.

Previously recognized with a grant by the Hungarian Academy of Arts, this piece will delight the audience on this late September evening in the presentation of the renowned Hungarian National Male Choir, an extraordinary ensemble unique in the world.

Contemporary music will take the spotlight in the second half of this special program, featuring some of my latest compositions. The Peace Mass will premiere this evening, and we will also perform Rorate caeli, and The Magyar’s God, a piece specifically composed for the performing male choir.

Soloists of the pieces: András Decsi and Gabriella Balga. Organist: László Adrián Nagy. The evening’s performances will be conducted by Tibor Lógó and Richard Riederauer.

The concert is supported by the Research Institute of Art Theory and Methodology of the Hungarian Academy of Arts and the Honvéd Ensemble.
