It is a new arrangement of a performance piece, ConceRtino oPpUre fantaSia per trombone (2007), written in the classic fast-slow-fast structure. After the rhapsodic introduction, the work is basically built up from variations on a single theme, presented through a variety of moods, characters, and rhythm patterns.
